Duty-Pride-Tradition (aka DPT) is exactly what it says, "Duty-Pride-Tradition!". This is the brainchild of (Ret.) Chicago Fire Chief Ed Enright.

The story is a long one, but he graciously gave us the opportunity to use "signature" line! Thanks Chief!

We use this in every activity, from classroom, to uniform to practical hands on activities! It's on our facility doors and in the minds of every Instructor,

which is passed on. Above are 2 pictures of our "DPT" shirt, which earned by every student who completes the Fire Science I program.

It reminds them what they worked for!

This shirt is worn on Fridays by the Fire Science II students and Instructors to set an example for the Fire Science I students as an "oorah!"
